Morjim, Sept. 11 -- Mandrem Police have registered an unnatural death case after a 48-year-old Russian national, Andrei Kirianov, was found dead in a decomposed condition inside a room at Vithaldas Waddo, Morjim, on September 9.

The deceased was reportedly found inside the premises, following which his wife identified the body.

According to police, the family has not raised any suspicion of foul play in connection with the death.

The body has been preserved at the GMC Morgue in Bambolim and will undergo a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
