Goa, Aug. 9 -- Police have arrested a man for allegedly stealing around Rs.5,000 in cash and coins from a donation box at Shri Kalbhairav Temple in Saptakotishwar, Narve. The theft reportedly took place on August 1, when the accused allegedly entered the temple, broke open the donation box and fled with the money. After examining CCTV footage, police identified and traced the suspect to Cortalim. He was arrested on August 8 following due procedure. Police said the accused is involved in more than 10 cases. A court has remanded him to 12 days of judicial custody.
