Goa, Sept. 12 -- Mandrem Police have registered an FIR following the alleged theft of around Rs.40,000 in cash from a donation box at Shree Dev Ajoba Devasthan in Talwada, Keri, Pernem.

According to the complaint, unknown persons allegedly broke open the lock of the donation box, which was kept in the open premises of the temple, and stole the cash inside.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to identify those responsible for the alleged theft. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
