Goa, July 15 -- Restoration work on the historic South Goa Comunidade Building has commenced, with the project being undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs.3 crore to preserve one of the region's prominent heritage landmarks.

Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Digambar Kamat said the restoration project is expected to be completed by December. The works are aimed at conserving the building's historical character while enhancing its overall appearance through careful renovation.
