Goa, May 25 -- Roof tiles from the window shades of the old North Goa Collectorate Building in Panjim collapsed onto the ground following strong winds, raising safety concerns in the area.

According to information available, a section of the remaining roof tiles is still in a dangerous condition and poses a potential threat to pedestrians passing nearby.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Personnel from the Goa Fire and Emergency Services reached the spot and carried out necessary safety measures to secure the area and prevent any untoward incident. Authorities are expected to further inspect the structure to avoid additional hazards.
