Goa, June 26 -- A portion of the roof of a house in New Vaddem, Vasco, collapsed on Thursday night, sparking panic among the occupants. Fortunately, the family escaped unhurt despite the sudden incident.

The house is owned by Vijay Mallah. The cause of the roof collapse has not yet been determined, and authorities are expected to ascertain the reason behind the structural failure.

Soon after the incident, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar visited the affected residence to assess the damage and meet the family. He assured them of all possible assistance and support for the repair and restoration of their home.
