Goa, May 26 -- The final rites of Fr Bolmax Pereira will be conducted on May 28, 2026, with revised timings announced by St. Francis Xavier Church.

According to the updated schedule issued by the Church authorities, the mortal remains of Fr Pereira will be placed at St. Francis Xavier Church, Chicalim, at 7:00 am for parishioners, relatives, and well-wishers to pay their last respects. This will be followed by a Holy Mass at 10:00 am.

Thereafter, the mortal remains will be taken to his residence in Quepem.

The funeral cortege will depart from the residence at 2:30 pm and proceed to Holy Cross Church, where the Eucharistic Celebration will now be held at 3:30 pm.
