Goa, Oct. 29 -- A review meeting was held following the fire at Vasco Sunday Market to assess the damage and discuss relief and rehabilitation measures for affected traders.

The meeting was chaired by the Chief Secretary and attended by the Collector, Vasco MLA, Mormugao BJP president and representatives of the affected shopkeepers.

During the meeting, officials heard the concerns of traders who suffered losses in the fire and discussed possible support measures to help them recover.

The meeting also focused on coordinating efforts for the restoration of the affected market and exploring measures to assist traders in resuming their businesses.
