Goa, May 1 -- The Election Commission of India has ordered repolling in 15 polling booths across West Bengal's Magrahat Paschim and Diamond Harbour constituencies following reports of voting irregularities during the April 29 phase of the 2026 Assembly elections. According to the official directive issued by the state's Chief Electoral Officer, the earlier polling at these stations has been declared void under Section 58(2) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
