Mapusa, Oct. 14 -- Janata Educational Society's Shree Sateri School in Mapusa organised a bicycle distribution ceremony for girl students under UMEED, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative sponsored by RBL Bank to promote education and empower girls.

As part of the initiative, bicycles and school kits were distributed to girl students to support their educational journey, encourage independence and make their daily commute to school more convenient.

The programme was graced by Shri Guruprasad Pawaskar, Chairman and State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, as the Guest of Honour. Shri Tushar Topple, Trustee of Janata Educational Society, was also present on the occasion.
