Goa, Oct. 6 -- The INDIA bloc on Tuesday marched towards the Election Commission of India's headquarters in New Delhi, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the voter-roll revision exercise.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi led the protest after Opposition MPs assembled at the Makar Dwar of Parliament and began their march towards Nirvachan Sadan. The protesters raised slogans against the Election Commission and carried banners calling for democracy and electoral safeguards.
