Goa, Aug. 1 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his remarks regarding students who protested against alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), accusing the government of failing to understand the concerns of students and their families.

In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi said the Prime Minister had not met even a single student or parent affected by the controversy. He alleged that the government remained disconnected from the hardships faced by aspirants despite widespread protests and demands for accountability over the examination process.
