Goa, Oct. 29 -- Former India spinner R Ashwin has identified Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) as potential destinations for Hardik Pandya if the all-rounder moves on from Mumbai Indians.

Hardik's second stint as Mumbai Indians captain has reportedly faced challenges, with the team struggling for consistency under his leadership. His individual performances also failed to deliver sustained runs and wickets, while reports of dressing-room tensions added to the uncertainty surrounding his future.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ashwin suggested that KKR could offer Hardik an opportunity to captain the franchise. He also discussed possible player exchanges that could form part of a deal.
