PWD Begins Repair Work After Stormwater Drain Collapses Near Damodar Temple in Margao
Goa, July 25 -- Responding promptly to reports of a major stormwater drain collapse at Comba in Margao following incessant rainfall, Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Digambar Kamat visited the affected site along with departmental officials to assess the damage.
The incident occurred behind the Shree Lord Damodar Temple, where continuous heavy rains reportedly caused the stormwater drain to cave in, raising concerns over public safety.
Following a detailed inspection of the affected area, the Minister directed officials to initiate immediate remedial measures to prevent further damage and ensure the safety of residents and commuters.
