Punjab Police Bust Suspected Espionage Network, Arrest Man for Sharing Army Movement Details with Pakistan
Goa, May 22 -- Punjab Police have uncovered a suspected espionage network in Pathankot and arrested a man accused of sharing sensitive information related to the movement of Indian Army and paramilitary forces with handlers based in Pakistan.
The accused, identified as Baljit Singh, also known as Bittu, is a resident of Chakk Dhariwal village. According to police officials, he allegedly installed a CCTV camera at a shop near a bridge along the Pathankot-Jammu stretch of National Highway-44 to monitor the movement of military and paramilitary convoys.
