Mumbai, June 4 -- A proposal to establish a direct water transport link between Sindhudurg and Goa has been put forward, with the aim of improving coastal connectivity and boosting tourism in the region.

The plan includes the development of a jetty near Chipi Airport in Sindhudurg, which would serve as a key point for a direct water transport service connecting the district with Goa. The initiative is expected to provide a faster and more convenient travel option for tourists and residents alike.
