Goa, July 3 -- Advocate Pratima Coutinho has rejoined the Congress party and launched a strong attack on the BJP, declaring that she is returning to actively fight alleged corruption and illegalities in the state.

Addressing party workers after her return to the Congress, Coutinho used a fiery metaphor to underline her resolve, stating that "acid flows in my veins, not blood," as she vowed to take on what she described as corruption and unlawful activities.

She said she would work closely with Congress leaders and party workers to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and restore the Congress' political presence in Navelim and across Goa.
