Goa, May 13 -- Prateek Yadav, the 38-year-old stepson of late Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, died due to cardiorespiratory collapse caused by massive pulmonary thromboembolism-a severe condition where blood clots block lung arteries. The postmortem report from Lucknow's Civil Hospital confirmed this on Wednesday, noting all injuries on his body were antemortem, occurring before death. Heart tissue and thromboembolic material were preserved for further analysis, along with viscera for chemical tests.
