Goa, Sept. 3 -- The Electricity Department has announced a planned power shutdown on Saturday, September 5, from 6 am to 7 am due to urgent maintenance work at the 110/33/11KV Verna sub-station. The shutdown will affect all 33KV and 11KV feeders supplied by the Verna sub-station. According to the department, power supply will be disrupted across several areas, including Vasco, Cortalim, Sancoale, Velsao, Cansaulim, Majorda, Utorda, Betalbatim, Nuvem, Verna, Verna Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), Nagoa, Pirni, Fatorda and Monte Hill in Margao.
