Porvorim, Aug. 19 -- The Porvorim Udaan Pul Namakaran Samiti has demanded that the Porvorim flyover be named after Goa's first Chief Minister, the late Bhausaheb Bandodkar.

The committee said naming the flyover after Bandodkar would be a fitting tribute to his contributions to Goa and help preserve his legacy for future generations.

The demand comes as part of the committee's efforts to honour prominent figures who played a significant role in Goa's development and history.
