India, March 10 -- Porvorim Police Station has issued summons to Hartik Mandrekar and an office staff member of Vijai Sardesai in connection with the Mirabag agitators incident at the Goa Assembly Complex.

According to police sources, the two have been directed to appear before Mandar Parab for questioning regarding the incident involving protesters at the Assembly complex.

Mandrekar currently serves as the president of the Goa University Students' Union. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the Mirabag agitation and the events that unfolded at the Assembly premises.

Further inquiry into the matter is underway.
