Goa, Sept. 2 -- Porvorim Police have registered a case against Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Secretary Tulsidas Shetye and GCA official Harish Shinde following allegations of obstructing and threatening a government-appointed auditor during an audit at the association's office on August 26.

According to the complaint, the auditor alleged that the two officials wrongfully restrained him, abused him and used criminal force while he was carrying out his official duties.

The auditor further alleged that he was compelled to sign a document during the incident.

Police have booked the two officials based on the allegations, and further investigation is underway.
