Goa, Aug. 8 -- Porvorim Police have registered an FIR against a scooter rider, identified as Farman, for allegedly driving rashly and negligently and colliding with an oncoming motorcycle at Ambirna Waddo, Porvorim, on August 6.

According to police, the accident occurred near the Ganpati Visarjan spot when Farman allegedly rode the scooter in a rash and negligent manner and collided with the motorcycle.

The impact reportedly caused the motorcycle rider, 31-year-old Akash Bishwakarma of Succour, Porvorim, to fall into a roadside creek. He was allegedly swept into the water and subsequently died.
