Goa, Sept. 11 -- The six-lane Porvorim Elevated Corridor, scheduled to open for vehicular traffic at 4 PM today, has been delayed to 6 PM as crews continue removing temporary structures and arrangements put up for the inauguration ceremony.

Traffic movement will begin once the ceremonial setup is completely cleared from the corridor.

The 5.15-km corridor, built at a cost of about Rs.641 crore, is expected to carry around 70,000-80,000 vehicles a day and ease congestion along the busy Porvorim stretch of NH-66
