Goa, April 25 -- Ponjekar Against Casinos has demanded that police register an FIR against the board of directors of six casinos, alleging that under-21 individuals were allowed onto casino boats.
The group claims the action violates the Gambling Act and provisions of child protection laws. It said the alleged breach is serious enough to warrant immediate legal action and stricter enforcement.
Members argued that casino operators must be held accountable for failing to follow age restrictions and safeguarding norms.
The complaint adds fresh pressure on casinos in Goa, where public concern over their social and regulatory impact continues to grow.
