Goa, July 24 -- Ponda Police successfully recovered 18 lost and stolen mobile phones through technical surveillance and a detailed investigation. The recovered devices belonged to complainants who had earlier reported their phones missing or stolen. After completing the required verification process and legal formalities, the police returned all 18 mobile phones to their rightful owners. Officials said the recovery highlights the effective use of technology in solving property-related crimes. Police also urged citizens to promptly report lost or stolen mobile phones and preserve important details, such as the IMEI number, to improve the chances of successful tracking and recovery.
