Goa, Nov. 1 -- Tensions flared across Anantapur district as law enforcement officials shot and wounded Hemanth, the prime suspect behind a horrific chainsaw attack on a Class 10 student at Zilla Parishad High School in Raptadu. The suspect was apprehended following an intensive search operation in the region.

Acting on precise intelligence indicating that Hemanth had fled into the dense Atmakur forest area, special tactical teams were dispatched to track down and detain him.
