Goa, May 10 -- A bullfight reportedly scheduled between Carmona and Zalor on Saturday morning was called off after police reached the location before the event could begin. According to sources, organisers and several spectators fled the area immediately after noticing the police team approaching the site. Authorities confirmed that the gathering was dispersed and the event was prevented from proceeding further. Officials have launched an inquiry into the incident to identify those involved in organising the alleged bullfight. Police are also examining whether prior permissions were obtained and if any laws related to animal cruelty and unlawful public gatherings were violated during the event.
