Goa, April 30 -- Water supply will be restricted across parts of North Goa due to urgent pipeline shifting work, officials announced. The disruption will affect Bicholim, Sankhali, Mayem, and areas under the Poriem constituency on May 5 and 6, 2026. Authorities said the work involves shifting a 600 mm DI conveying main at Kodal in Karapur, Mayem. Tankers may be deployed in severely affected zones, while residents are advised to store adequate water in advance. Officials have urged consumers to cooperate and bear with the temporary inconvenience caused during the essential infrastructure upgrade work.
