Goa, July 20 -- A major water pipeline burst near Sai Service in Curti, Ponda, on Monday led to the wastage of thousands of litres of water as a powerful stream shot several metres into the air. The leak flooded a section of the busy road, slowing traffic and drawing the attention of commuters and nearby residents. Videos of the incident quickly circulated on social media. Authorities were informed and are expected to undertake repair work to restore the pipeline and prevent further water loss. No injuries were reported in the incident.
