Goa, Sept. 11 -- With Malcolm Agnelo Pereira seeking protection from arrest in the Chinchinim-Deussa sar panch assault case, his law yer Adv Amey Prabudessai on Thursday questioned the need for further police action after Pereira had complied with a notice issued to him under Sec tion 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), while also object ing to Gomes' intervention in Pereira's anticipatory bail plea. Pereira had appeared before the Cuncolim Police on Wednesday in response to the notice issued under Section 35(3) of the BNSS.
