Goa, June 17 -- US President Donald Trump has said the agreement reached with Iran is not a final peace deal, describing it as a "Memorandum of Understanding" that remains subject to further negotiations.

Trump warned that the US could resume military action if Iran fails to comply with the terms, saying the agreement's future depends on Tehran's conduct.

The interim understanding is expected to be formally signed on June 19 and could lead to 60 days of negotiations focused on Iran's nuclear programme and other unresolved issues.

Meanwhile, regional tensions remain high, with Iran accusing Israel of repeated ceasefire violations in Lebanon and demanding sanctions relief as part of any broader agreement.
