TORSE, June 23 -- A Panjim-Sawantwadi Kadamba bus met with an accident near Torse Rajwada Junction after its front tyre reportedly burst, causing the vehicle to lose control and veer off its course.

According to reports, the bus struck a streetlight pole before crossing into the opposite lane. The impact caused damage to roadside infrastructure, but a major tragedy was averted.

The driver sustained minor injuries in the incident and was provided medical attention. Fortunately, all passengers on board escaped unharmed.
