Goa, Nov. 7 -- Panaji Police have registered an FIR against Shabir Abdul Nabi for allegedly cheating a woman of Rs 5,02,522 by promising to secure an overseas job for her son in Albania.

According to the complaint, the accused had assured the woman that her son would be employed as a warehouse worker in Albania. However, instead of being sent to Albania, her son was allegedly taken to Ukraine and made to work at a poultry farm.

The alleged cheating took place between September 2025 and September 2026. Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
