Goa, June 26 -- Residents have expressed concern over overgrown roadside bushes along the Kasti-Sanguem road, particularly at a narrow and sharp bend that has reportedly witnessed several accidents.

The dense vegetation has encroached onto nearly half the carriageway, significantly reducing visibility for motorists and creating a hazardous stretch for commuters. Drivers negotiating the blind curve are finding it increasingly difficult to spot oncoming vehicles, raising the risk of collisions.

The situation has also become a safety concern for school children travelling on the route. Locals say the overgrown bushes often brush against school buses as they pass through the bend, causing anxiety among students and parents alike.
