Goa, July 16 -- More than 2,000 devotees participated in a solemn early morning procession with the statue of Mother Mary at Pilar on Wednesday as Goa hosted the 12th Indian National Meet and 2nd Goa Marian Congress of the World Apostolate of Fatima (WAF).

The three-day event, being held from July 15 to 17 at the Pilar Pilgrim Centre, has brought together bishops, clergy, religious and pilgrims from across the country under the theme, "Learn, Live, and Share the Message of Fatima in a Synodal Church." The congress aims to deepen the faithful's commitment to prayer, penance and reparation in keeping with the message of Our Lady of Fatima.
