Goa, June 15 -- Opposition CCP Councillors Jack Sukhija, Liberta, and Leonid Furtado jointly addressed a press conference, alleging that pre-monsoon preparedness works were not carried out satisfactorily in their respective wards despite repeated requests made to the Mayor.

The councillors expressed concern over several civic issues, including clogged drains, poor maintenance of public infrastructure, and the heightened risk of waterlogging during the ongoing monsoon season. They claimed that inadequate preventive measures could lead to inconvenience and safety hazards for residents.
