Goa, Aug. 19 -- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will visit Goa in the first week of October to attend the silver jubilee celebrations of the Goa Legislative Assembly Complex. The Assembly complex is completing 25 years, and a five-day programme has been planned to commemorate the milestone.

The celebrations will bring together legislators, dignitaries and invited guests to mark the institution's journey over the past two and a half decades. Om Birla's participation is expected to be one of the key highlights of the commemorative event, which will be held during the first week of October.
