Goa, May 3 -- The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2026 on Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM across India and select international centres, with more than 22.79 lakh candidates appearing at over 5,400 examination venues. The large-scale exercise once again underscores NEET's position as one of the biggest entrance examinations globally.

According to the NTA, the examination is being held in pen-and-paper mode across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. A total of over 2 lakh personnel have been deployed to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the exam.
