Goa, June 22 -- The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has sought an official inquiry into alleged irregularities during the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination held at the Government College examination centre in Pernem, Goa.

According to the student body, several candidates complained that the examination in one of the halls was stopped before the scheduled conclusion time. Students alleged that invigilators collected answer sheets at around 5 pm, nearly 15 minutes before the official end time of 5.15 pm, resulting in the loss of valuable writing time during the highly competitive medical entrance examination.
