Goa, May 11 -- Following a series of road accidents reported along the Ganeshpuri-Marna-Siolim road, the North Goa District Road Safety Committee on Monday carried out a joint inspection of the accident-prone stretch to assess safety concerns and identify corrective measures.
The inspection, conducted around 11 am, was initiated after a request by the Siolim Civic & Consumer Forum (SCCF). Members of the committee, along with local representatives and stakeholders, visited the hazardous slope area to examine the risks faced by motorists, especially due to the steep gradient.
