India, Feb. 28 -- The North Goa District Administration has intensified preparations and safety arrangements for the upcoming annual jatra of Shree Devi Lairai Temple in Shirgao, scheduled to begin on April 21, 2026.

The measures are being implemented under the supervision of District Collector and Chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority, Ankit Yadav, with a focus on crowd control and public safety during the large religious gathering.
