No Permission for Tata Power in Goa, Says Sudin Dhavalikar
Goa, July 5 -- Goa Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has made it clear that the state government will not allow Tata Power to distribute electricity in Goa. He said the government has already built one of the state's best power distribution networks.
Dhavalikar urged municipalities and village panchayats not to issue No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to Tata Power. According to him, the company approached local bodies without first obtaining approval from the state government.
The minister stressed that any proposal to distribute electricity in Goa must follow the government's approval process.
