India, March 25 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that no approvals under Section 39A will be allowed to proceed in the Sanquelim constituency.

The Chief Minister said he has discussed the matter with TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane, adding that the provisions enabling such approvals will be withdrawn.

he announcement comes amid ongoing concerns over planning permissions and development-related issues in the constituency, with the government indicating a move to halt further clearances under the provision.
