Goa, May 19 -- The newly constructed WRD bridge on the Salaulim dam canal at Vishnubag has come under criticism from local residents, who allege poor planning and execution by the contractor after the structure reportedly got flooded during the very first spell of rains.

According to villagers, the absence of proper water outlets caused waterlogging on the bridge, leading to inconvenience and hardship for commuters and nearby residents. Locals claim the flooding has made travel difficult and raised concerns over the quality of the construction work.
