Goa, July 13 -- The newly constructed Chandil-Hasapur bridge in Pernem will be opened to all light and heavy vehicles from Tuesday, marking the completion of months-long construction work and bringing much-needed relief to commuters and local residents.

The bridge had remained under construction for several months, leading to traffic restrictions and inconvenience for motorists, traders and villagers who regularly use the route. With the project now completed, traffic is expected to move smoothly, improving safety and reducing travel time.
