Goa, April 8 -- Residents of Naquerim-Betul in Canacona have voiced strong opposition to a proposed aerosports project planned over nearly 2,45,000 square metres, citing threats to the environment and local livelihoods.

Villagers allege that several projects have been introduced in the area without adequately consulting the community or elected representatives. The proposed aerosports initiative has further intensified these concerns, as the identified land is reportedly part of a biodiversity-rich zone.
