Goa, Oct. 9 -- A preliminary medical assessment has indicated cardiac arrest as the suspected cause of actor Nana Patekar's death. A three-member panel of doctors constituted by the Dean has shared its initial opinion following the examination.

However, the final cause of death has been reserved pending the results of histopathological examination and other medical tests.

Doctors are awaiting the findings of these investigations before arriving at a conclusive determination. The final medical report is expected to establish the precise cause of death once the necessary examinations are completed.
