Names of six Operation Sindoor martyrs made public for first time
Goa, June 26 -- The Government of India has, for the first time, released the names of six military personnel who laid down their lives during Operation Sindoor, the country's military response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Their names will now be permanently inscribed at the National War Memorial in New Delhi, honouring their sacrifice for the nation.
The six personnel include Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Rifleman Sunil Kumar, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, Agniveer Murali Naik, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh and Indian Air Force Sergeant Surendra Kumar. Five of the fallen belonged to the Indian Army, while one served in the Indian Air Force.
