Goa, May 28 -- Muslims across Goa celebrated Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, with religious fervour and strong community spirit as hundreds of devotees gathered at mosques and Eidgahs across the state to offer special prayers.

Despite pre-monsoon showers reported in several parts of Goa, people turned out in large numbers early in the morning to participate in Eid prayers and religious observances associated with the festival.

Devotees dressed in traditional attire assembled at prayer grounds and mosques, where religious leaders delivered sermons highlighting the values of sacrifice, compassion, unity, and charity that define Eid al-Adha.
